The celebration of the 63rd Araw ng Calamba would not be complete without the fabulous presentations from the teachers during the Educator’s Night or popularly known before as Opening Salvo. The Educator’s Night of the Department of Education (DepEd) held last February 8, 2011 at 7 o’clock in the evening at Mateo Matunog Gymnasium.
The Educator’s Night showcased the talents of the teachers from the Private and Public Elementary Schools, High Schools and Colleges. It is also a support of the artistic qualities and side of the teachers.
The first performers were teachers from Southwestern Poblacion and Pestañas Elementary School.
The second and the third performers that showed the electrifying dance presentations were faculties and staffs from the College of Communication, Information and Technology and then followed by Misamis Computer College faculties and staffs.
The 4th performers were the teachers from Calamba National Comprehensive High School and the 5th performers were from Sacred Heart College. Their dance moves shows delighted pleasure of performing in front of audience, guests, colleagues and especially the students.
The combine talents of the teachers from San Isidro and Sulipat with fabulous costumes made the 6th performers stunning.
The teachers from the Philippine Independent Church Elementary School were the 7th performers.
The 8th performers were the teachers from the Calamba Central School. They look so pleasing to the eyes of the audience of their costumes with their nice dance moves.
Teachers from Calaran and Bunawan Elementary Schools were the 9th performers followed by teachers from Liberation Institute.
The performances from Dapacan Alto, Dapacan Bajo and Libertad Elementary Schools teachers complete the tremendous performances that made the 63rd Araw ng Calamba a successful one.
Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA, Municpal Vice Mayor Jesus C. Enerio, Sangguniang Bayan Members in attendance SB Member Marjorie A. Sarreal, SB Member Zenaida C. Medija, SB Member Judelyn E. Bolotaolo, SB Member Joelito G. Intong, School Principals and Administrators graced the Occasion.
All the performances were really very interesting and talent wise and they really gave their 100% attention to their performances and preparation in terms of costumes and song choice.
Their colorful costumes and dance routine was artistic that made the ambiance extraordinary.
The Educator’s Night made the celebration of the 63rd Araw ng Calamba more special. The teachers have gained the appreciation of their colleagues and especially their students.
