Daycare Mass Recognition Program 2011 of the Municipality of Calamba, Misamis Occidental

They said that the children are the future and education plays and important role for the future of the children. March is the month of graduation that 

means that new groups of graduate’s daycare students are now ready to enter next school year for Kindergarten.

The Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) spearheaded by MSWD Officer Gudelia I. Castaños held the Daycare Mass Recognition Program last March 10, 2011 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Mateo Matunog Gymnasium.

The Mass Recognition was formally opened with a recessional march headed by Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva, Jr., MNSA, Municipal Vice Mayor Jesus C. Enerio, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Staffs, Barangay Captains from the 19 Barangays, Daycare teachers, parents and daycare students. After the recessional march the lighting of candles followed with daycare students and their parents.

254 daycare students’ 112 male and 142 female ages 3-4 years old from the 19 Barangays were given the opportunities to received certificates of completion for daycare education.

Parents and teachers were the people who take part for the development of the children especially their education.

At a young age, the daycare students understood the importance of education. Their innocent face and great smile showed how proud they are when they marched to the stage to get their diplomas.

The barangay captain smiled every time they saw their constituent marching to the stage to get the diplomas and to receive ribbons for the achievers.

Right after the distribution of diplomas, the pinning of ribbons for the achievers followed.

Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva, Jr., MNSA and Municipal Vice Mayor Jesus C. Enerio graced the occasion.

While watching the Mass Recognition, the parents, daycare workers, Municipal and Barangay Officials and the people behind the achievements of the students were proud of the fruits of their labor.

The supports of the Local Government Unit of Calamba, Misamis Occidental spearheaded by the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development and the Municipal Officials, Barangay Officials from the 19 Barangays of the municipality and the collaboration efforts of the Daycare Workers and Parents in achieving the daycare students in their first milestone in their education.
