Mrs. Kristin Co Lim College of Communication, Information and Technology (CCIT) President for Administration was the guest of honor.
The overall message of the celebration of the Independence for the Calambahanons revealed the lives of the Filipinos during the proclamation of the Independence Day and the Filipinos of today. Despite of the fact that most of the Calambahanons never experienced the time when Independence Day was proclaimed but the celebration showed how the Calambahanons understand how our forefathers fight for the country. Living in a peaceful society also makes real essence of freedom. Teachers play important roles in molding the minds of the youths for good education and freedom from ignorance. Camaraderie for the development of Calamba gives freedom of the Calambahanons from Poverty. Furthermore, for the Calambahanons gaining Independence is not only winning the battle from foreign rules but also gaining experience to stand and strive hard to win the real battle of life.
