EMPLOYEES NIGHT

On February 11, 2026, at 7:00PM, the Municipal celebrated the Emplyees’ Night as part of the 78^th Araw ng Calamba 2026 held at Municipal Gymnasium. The event was headed by Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA, together with Vice Mayor Engr. Ezal T. Villanueva, Municipal Administrator Atty. Prince Junel G. Sevilla, and the member of the Sangguniang Bayan.

The celebration aimed to bring together employees from private and government agencies within the municipality in a night of unity, appreciation, and camaraderie. With the theme, “Ang magkahiusang Calambahanon Magpuyong Malinawon, Malambuon, ug Malipayon,” the event highlighted the importance of solidarity in building a peaceful, progressive, and joyful community.

The program formally opened with an invocation led by Ms. Alvi Mae L. Samosa, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the Calamba March. Ms Ella D. Tutong, President of the Calamba Employees Association, delivered her welcome message, expressing gratitude to all employees for their dedication and service.

Hon. Sammy Ford G. Lansang, SB Chairon Commerce, Trade, Industry, Labor, and Employment, also gave a short but meaningful recognizing the vital role of workers in the municipality’s continued growth and development.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of candidates from the eight clusters, showcasing their creativity, confidence and teamwork. Each cluster was proudly introduced before the much-anticipated crowning of the Queen 2026.

Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr. then delivered his inspiring message, commending all employees for their hard and reaffirming the local government’s commitment to supporting and uplifting the workforce

The celebration continued with a lively mass dance and socialization, strengthening camaraderie among employees. The Employees’ Night concluded successfully, leaving everyone with joyful memories and a renewed spirit of unity as one Calambahanon community.

LAKAMBINI NG CALAMBA 2026

GRAND CORONATION NIGHT

        The Lakambini ng Calamba 2026, Araw ng Calamba, pageant made a triumphant return on February 09, 2026, 7:00 pm at the Municipal Gymnasium, was a resounding success, celebrating the beauty, talent, and cultural heritage of Calamba. The event was grace by esteemed officials, including Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA, Vice Mayor Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva, Member of the Sangguniang Bayan, and the distinguished guests.

The pageant featured eight remarkable candidates representing different cluster. Cluster1: Ms. Queensybel Banada Marimon, Cluster 2: Ms. Angel Mae Aviles Jawom, Cluster 3: Ms. Gigi Princess Magdalan Balansag, Cluster 4:Ms. Samantha Unaizah Paglinawan Caranto, Clauster 5: Ms. Divine Grace Daque Puya, Cluster 6: Ms.Marjorie Butalid Clapano, Cluster 7: Ms. Kyla Ag-ag Ba-Aclo, Cluster 8: Ms. Nicole Abigail Lacia Reyes.

Each contest exception poise and charisma, making the competition a memorable celebration of 78^th Araw ng Calamba. The coronation night culminated with Ms. Kyla Ag-ag Ba-aclo from cluster 7, being crowned as Lakambini ng Calamba 2026. In addition to the prestigious title, she receives special awards for Best in Closed door interview, best in Production Number, best in Swimsuit, best in Telegenic, best in West View Inn, best in Iglow 2026 and best in Casa Ellah 2026. The first runner-up honor was awarded to Ms. Samantha Unizah Paglinawan Caranto from cluster 4, while Ms. Divine Grace Daque Puya from cluster 5 secured the second runner-up position. The event’s success was attributed to the collaborative efforts of the organizing committee, including Maria Corazon T. Descallar, Municipal Tourism Officer, Cherry Magsayo Pageant Chairperson, and Mr. Neal Boladola Pageant Director. Their dedication ensured a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees.

Their remarkable performance captivated both the judges and the audience, making the event a memorable celebration of 78^th Araw ng Calamba 2026.

EDUCATOR’S NIGHT

On February 10, 2026, at 7:00pm, the Municipal Gymnasium was filled with people from all walks of life, all eager to witness the spectacular Educators’ Night in celebration of the 78^th Araw ng Calamba.

The program commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the National anthem and the Calamba March, and a lively mass dance that energized the crowd. Ma’am Nelia T. Lanzaderas, Public School District Supervisor, warmly welcomed everyone with her heartfelt opening address, expressing gratitude to the teachers and guests who grace the occasion

One of the highlight of the evening was a special performance by the school administrator, which truly captivated the audience and showcased their talent and camaraderie. Shortly after, Municipal Mayor Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA delivered an inspiring and motivation message, commending the dedication and invaluable contribution of education in shaping the future of the community.

The most awaited moment of the night was the dance presentation of public and private school teacher by cluster. The first performance came from Cluster 1, followed by Cluster 6 and 7, the Cluster 2 and 5, and finally Cluster 3 and 4. Each group gave their best on stage, impressing the audience with their creativity, coordination, and enthusiasm. The crowd cheered and applauded the teachers’ outstanding performance, filling the gymnasium with excitement and pride.

Educators’ Night proved to be a celebration of talent, unity, and dedication, setting the perfect tone for the upcoming 78^th Araw ng Calamba.

INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING SERVICE

“78^th  ARAW NG CALAMBA CELEBRATIONS”

                On February 09, 2026, the 78^th Araw ng Calamba Celebration commenced at the Municipal Atrium, led by Municipal Mayor  Dr. Luisito B. Villanueva Jr., MNSA, Vice Mayor Engr. Ezel T. Villanueva, Municipal Administrator Atty. Prince Junel G. Sevilla, and the Sanguniang Bayan Member. The event was attended by national and local government employees, as well as the captains of the 19 barangays. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Ang Nagkahiusang Calambahanon Mapuyong Malinawon, Malambuon ug Malipayon.”

The activities began with National Anthem by the Calamba NCHS Symphonic Band, followed the Municipal Quadrangle with a flag banner raising ceremony of 19 barangay Captain with the Munical Mayor and Vice Mayor, officially marking the start of the celebration. Following this, guest and employees proceeded to the Municipal Atrium for Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. Religious ministers from various denominations supported the local government unit by offering prayer foe success of the 78^th Araw ng Calamba
