“Municipal Officials Oath Taking Ceremony of the Municipalilty of Calamba, Misamis Occidental”

Forty Nine (49) days after the May 10, 2010 National and Local Elections, the new sets of elected officials of the Municipality of Calamba, Misamis Occidental took their oath of office before administering officer Acting Presiding Judge of Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) of the Local Government Unit of Calamba, Misamis Occidental Hon. Marlon Jay G. Moneva last June 28, 2010, 9 o’clock in the morning at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall.

“LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF CALAMBA, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL COMMEMORATES THE 112TH INDEPENDENCE DAY “

 

The Local Government Unit of Calamba, Misamis Occidental joined the nationwide commemoration of the 112th anniversary of the Independence Day with the theme “KALAYAAN, TAGUMPAY NG BAYAN”.  Independence Day celebration is an expression of unity. June 12 has a big significant of the Filipino people wherein it is a day when the whole country and people from all walks of life paved their respect to the Filipino heroes who gave up their lives and share their knowledge  in acquiring the independence statehood of the Philippines from the colonization of another states.
