SERBISYONG HANDOG PARA SA BARANGAY OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF CALAMBA, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL

 

The Local Government Unit of Calamba, Misamis Occidental spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Ezel T. Villanueva with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Municipal Vice Mayor Jesus C. Enerio held the 4 in 1 SERBISYONG HANDOG PARA SA BARANGAY to the 19 barangays of the municipality. It is Medical and Dental Outreach, Legal Services, Children’s Feeding Program and Senior Citizen Corner. 

Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Emmanuel M. Cale led the medical and dental outreach.  The medical and dental outreach in barangays participated by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Rodolfo C. Mario,   Mun. Health Unit nurses, midwives and dentist.   The medical mission is to provide health care services to the barangays especially for the poor in rural and urban areas. The patients were also provided with free medicines and vitamins for children. The mission serves the people especially constituents living in remote areas who need free health care. 

Aside from medical and dental outreach program in the barangays, Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Juan T. Jumalon sponsored a feeding program for children. The feeding program aims to help meet the nutritional needs of children by providing them with nutritious foods. Hon. Jumalon is a SB Committee Member for Heath and Sanitation.  

Another service provide during the barangay visits, is the legal services. The Public Attorney’s Office in Calamba provides legal services including legal counseling or consultation/advice; they also provide legal documentation like affidavits. Services offered by the PAO benefits the Calambahanon especially the unprivileged individual seeking for legal remedies.    

Constituents ages 60 years old and above who want to join Senior Citizens were provided free ID pictures and free ID lamination.

The Serbisyong Handog Para Sa Barangay directly serves the constituents who need public service.
